Our Lady of Grace Conference

Meeting of Thursday 11/09/2014

Since our last meeting on 28/08/2014 our Vincentians have undertaken a total of 8 visits to people in the local community, helping with shopping, paying bills, taking people to the shops or doctor and befriending the sick and housebound.  Support and advice has also been provided over the phone.

A short discussion took place concerning the annual mass for the sick and housebound on Saturday 27/09/2014 with arrangements being made for the distribution of invitations.  Anyone who hasn’t received an invitation and would like to attend or who would like a lift to the mass, which starts at 2.00pm and is followed by a party in the parish hall, should contact the presbytery on 773 2324.

You are asked to pray a parishioner who has just died and for his mother.  Blessed Mother Mary you understand the grief of a mother for the loss of a beloved son.  Look with love on all mothers who mourn for their children. Pray for them and their children that they may enjoy the kingdom of God and be reunited safely in His presence.
